The Health Sciences Learning Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison features 347,000-square-feet of lecture halls, offices and classrooms with cutting-edge audio-video and computer capabilities.
The primary goal of the project was to bring together medicine, nursing, pharmacy and physical therapy students into one facility in order to foster better interaction among disciplines. In order to bring them even closer, the school''s three health science libraries have consolidated into Ebling Library, which spans three floors and holds a capacity of 350 students and visitors.
A four-story atrium including a small cafe and bookstore, as well as a 145-stall underground parking ramp were all part of the work completed by Findorff in 2004.
