SSM Health, along with design and construction partners HGA and Findorff, is proud to share that the health system’s South Madison Campus project recently received WELL Certification at the Gold level.

WELL Certification is awarded by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The prestigious distinction was awarded through IWBI’s WELL v2, the latest version of the WELL Building Standard. WELL is the premier building standard to focus on enhancing people’s health and well-being through the buildings where we live, work and play.

SSM Health Dean Medical Group – South Madison Campus is Wisconsin’s first WELL Building certified healthcare project, as well as the largest healthcare project in the United States. The 185,000 square foot medical group location includes comprehensive primary and specialty care services, alongside on-site clinical support services like lab, imaging and pharmacy.

Findorff is excited to announce the recent promotion of Tiffany Scheller to Vice President of Finance.

In her new role, Tiffany will take on additional responsibilities related to financial reporting and risk management while leading the company’s financial operations and providing oversight for the accounting department.

Beyond her exceptional contributions to Findorff, Tiffany is known for her deep commitment to community involvement, philanthropy, and mentorship. She is an active member of TEMPO Madison and has served on the Scholarship Committee for the past few years, helping women connect, advance, and succeed in leadership positions across the Madison area. Tiffany serves on the American Family Children’s Hospital Development Partners Board, and as the Vice President of the Board of Financial Executives International – Madison Chapter and Programs Committee Chair. She is also actively involved in Downtown Madison, Inc., the Madison Reading Project, and Meals on Wheels.

A new apartment complex will open in Madison’s historic Greenbush neighborhood by the beginning of fall 2024, with construction set to begin in December 2022. The complex, Chapter at Madison, is expected to help alleviate housing stress for UW-Madison students and will feature a mural and cultural exhibit showcasing the Greenbush neighborhood’s culture. Findorff is thrilled to partner with Kubala Washatko Architects (TWKA) on designing and constructing the Vivarium, a new 450-seat venue by the Pabst Theater Group.

The Vivarium will be located at 1818 N. Farwell Ave. in Milwaukee and is expected to open in early 2024.

Alex Sheil is now an Assistant Project Manager.

Alivia Cronin has been promoted to Marketing & Business Development Specialist. Alivia has been with Findorff for over 5 years.

Garrett Price will now serve as a Virtual Design & Construction Engineer I.

Harsh Naik is now an Assistant Project Manager. Harsh started his career with Findorff back in January 2020.

John Tucker has been lending his expertise to Findorff’s clients for nearly 13 years. He previously served as a Senior Preconstruction Manager and is now a Preconstruction Executive.

Jason Klock is now a Labor Trade Superintendent.

Kurt Mueller has been promoted to Project Engineer and is about to celebrate his one-year anniversary with us!

Luis Porras has been promoted to Virtual Design & Construction Engineer II.

Nick Fricano is moving into the role of Project Manager I, having previously worked as an Assistant Project Manager. Nick has been with Findorff for 4.5 years.

Riley Buol recently celebrated his two-year anniversary with Findorff, as well as his promotion to Assistant Project Manager!

J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. (Findorff) is pleased to announce the recent selection of three Company Shareholders. Chad Eschler, Kyle Olson, and Tony Sullivan will join the twelve members of Findorff’s current ownership team, which includes Matt Breunig, John Feller, Brian Hornung, Bob Hougard, Luke Hutchins, Jim Martin, Jason Mattila, Christin Mlsna, Ben Pechan, Eric Plautz, Jeff Tubbs, and Jim Yehle.

“Our new shareholders represent excellence in their perspective fields and an unwavering commitment to Findorff’s success,” said Jim Yehle, President and CEO. “We are proud of their accomplishments and contributions to continue to move Findorff forward.”

Chad Eschler has held a variety of roles within his 17 years at Findorff from Yard Superintendent to Special Projects Manager to his current role as Vice President of Business Development. Chad leads the Business Development team aligning with Findorff’s growth strategy to cultivate relationships with businesses, local leaders, and potential clients. He is a member of NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association), and BioForward, and sits on the Board of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA). Beyond the construction realm, Chad is known for his commitment to community involvement, philanthropy, and mentorship. Chad is an In Business magazine 40Under 40 alumnus.

Kyle Olson started his career with Findorff as a laborer 18 years ago and has since held roles as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Superintendent, and now as Director of Field Operations. Kyle leads a robust team of Superintendents, Supervisors, and construction trade professionals across the country. He provides guidance, training, and support to field staff, and serves as a bridge to promote collaboration between the field and office teams. Kyle serves on the Board of Directors for Operation Fresh Start, and volunteers for WayForward Resources’ (formerly known as Middleton Outreach Ministry) “Canstruction” Program, and Project Home’s Hammer with a Heart. He is a 2023 recipient of In Business magazine’s 40 Under 40 award.

Tony Sullivan has over 19 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined Findorff in 2014 as a Project Manager and was promoted to Director of Project Management – Healthcare in 2020. Tony leads Findorff’s Healthcare industry with a focus on project management, provides project support and strategy, and serves as a client resource to help the team continue to deliver exceptional service. His portfolio includes notable projects such as SSM Health South Madison Campus, Carle Foundation Hospital, Upland Hills Health, and countless UW Health projects. Tony serves on the Board of Directors for the Meriter Foundation and the American Heart Association – Wisconsin. He is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and the Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association (WHEA).

Mike Anderson has been promoted to Yard Operations Supervisor, Kurt Erickson and Jared Johnson have been promoted to Supervisor, Kevin Kroll has been promoted to Field Supervisor, and Ehren Stroede has been promoted to Senior Safety Supervisor.

  

In office leadership positions, Jason Mattila is now Vice President and Justin Mitten is Director of Field Operations. Anuj Dubey, Kyle Erickson, and Tiffany Schroeder have been promoted to Project Manager. Jordan Landreman is now Preconstruction Manager, Nancy Beyler is Senior Accountant, Victoria Georgeson is Business Solutions Manager, and Kim Norton is Senior Field Operations Specialist. Bill Lor earned the title of IT Support Technician II and Cole Riese earned the title of Network Technician. Zach Gaatz, Jason Henkins, Ritesh Pathak, and Brooke Scott have each earned the title of Assistant Project Manager.

 

Congratulations to each of you!

Over twenty high school students had the opportunity to work alongside Findorff, Hooper Corp., and Pieper Electric trade professionals for a week. They received hands-on experience and learned about jobsite safety. Check out this video to hear what fourteen-year-old Yevka Yngsdahl, Glacier Creek Middle School student participant had to say.

Rib Lake School District Board selected Findorff to work with the district through the referendum and eventually the building process. Officials cited Findorff’s ability to communicate project goals during the referendum, successfully budget the project, predict construction trends, and contract quality subcontractors as reasons they selected Findorff.
