Findorff provided construction services for this religious gathering space and lecture hall on East Campus Mall of the UW-Madison campus. The facility was renovated from an existing cafeteria on the second floor of University Square into a multi-use space for student use. This is now a large venue capable of hosting anything from a concert to a retreat for a church youth group.

University Square, located in the heart of the University of Wisconsin – Madison campus, includes 350 residential units, a sustainable green roof, and 420 underground parking stalls. The base of the building features retail space, and the upper levels include the Lucky Apartments for student housing and office space for the University.

Innovation One – Located within University Research Park, Exact Sciences’ corporate headquarters, named Innovation One, unites team members and departments previously dispersed across multiple sites in the Madison area. The building received a LEED® Silver Certification and complements Exact Sciences’ laboratory campus and existing clinical lab. The construction process incorporated augmented reality components and full BIM coordination.

Element Labs Building – This five-story, multi-tenant commercial lab and office building was developed for clients in need of laboratory, restaurant, and amenity space. It includes a main lobby entrance, 4,000 square feet of restaurant shell space, and two levels of underground parking.

A six-story, 146,000-square-foot facility was constructed, including an auditorium, classrooms, extensive lab spaces, offices, and renovations to historical facilities. This project consisted of hazardous materials abatement, demolition, selective removal, renovation, and new construction within an existing complex.

Awarded LEED Gold Certification, the TruStage Foundation Headquarters office building spans five floors, providing meeting and recreational space, a cafeteria with a kitchen, and a 350-seat auditorium. At 72 points, the Headquarters has now achieved the highest point total for any LEED v4 New Construction project in the state of Wisconsin. This project required demolition of an existing building and parking structure, replaced with below-grade parking, extensive landscaping, and walking paths.

Steenbock’s on Orchard underwent a thorough renovation, gutted down to the bare bones and reconstructed. The Findorff Special Projects Group self-performed carpentry, demolition, concrete, and drywall on this project, and installed high-end finishes, giving the restaurant a sleek, updated look.

Findorff has performed preconstruction and construction services for SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital Madison in numerous areas throughout their facility, including the following:

SSM South Campus is a multi-specialty destination with primary care and unique services. These include orthopedics, radiology, audiology, infusion, and a physical therapy gym. The campus plays an important role in providing health care to the under-served patient population in the community, and the construction process involved key community members for the design-approval process.
