Located in the U.S. Bank building in the heart of downtown Madison, Graze offers a gastropub vibe featuring more casual dining while its counterpart L’Etoile offers fine dining. The interior features simple materials, bold utilitarian forms, and saturated colors. This modern take on agricultural elements includes barn wood siding, a cast concrete bar top, as well as iron pipe door pulls and foot rails. Bright colors are inspired by the basic hues of fresh produce and vibrant paint used for farm machinery.

This LEED® Silver Certified, 29,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building is home to Gray TV – WMTV. The media station includes two production studios for news broadcasts and other television programming, a double height newsroom for reporting staff, and other spaces for administrative and support staff.

For over 175 years, Grace Episcopal Church has been a center of ministry on Capitol Square and throughout Madison. They hired Findorff to perform an extensive renovation, including the construction of a central stairway as well as improvements to the nave and chancel, reception and waiting areas, the Cornelia Vilas Guild Hall, and the undercroft.

Findorff provided a tenant buildout for ForwardBio Labs, adding lab and office spaces to a co-working laboratory that rents costly research equipment for startup firms. The 1,300 square-foot tenant buildout was constructed in an occupied space, and the demolition and drywall were self-performed by Findorff.

To address membership growth, Findorff was selected to construct a 20,000-square-foot addition to the First Unitarian Society of Madison’s National Historic Landmark Meeting House, originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This project, a LEED Gold® Certified facility, features a two-story auditorium, classrooms, music rooms, and courtyard spaces.

Findorff has completed numerous fast-tracked, multi-phased projects for Exact Sciences. From a lab expansion to a major renovation and construction of office spaces, Findorff has worked closely with the client to complete work in highly sensitive, and occupied spaces, with a “speed-to-market” approach. The notable campus projects include University Research Park, Discovery Campus, Innovation Campus, Novation Campus, and the Research and Development Facility in University Research Park.

As part of a campus renovation, Exact Sciences added a Buffer Manufacturing Facility to produce buffer solution in-house for their Cologuard tests. Integrated into the Warehouse/Clinical Processing Lab, it features three fiberglass tanks (8,000 gallons each) for buffer manufacturing and dispensing, along with one stainless steel tank (8,800 gallons) for the specialized house water system. This facility enhances Exact’s sample processing capacity and is a CLIA Regulated Facility.

Eurofins’ state-of-the-art food testing laboratory and corporate office houses lab spaces for chemistry, metrology, and microbiology. This project included support spaces, three loading docks, a 750 KW generator, five walk-in stability chambers, and a 408 KWDC roof solar array. The space complies with the requirements of current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP, Lean Lab Design, ISO 17025).

“The Findorff Team excelled at delivering an operational-ready building on Day 1. Their Facility Activation processes ensured our teams had the turnover documentation at our fingertips to address any needs throughout operations.”
