This state-of-the-art station includes two production studios for news broadcasts, data center to support television programming, a double-height newsroom for reporting staff, as well as spaces for administrative and support staff. Construction of this news station was performed just a few feet from the fully occupied and operating existing news facility. The data center within the new building was completed and fully commissioned three months in advance of the building completion to allow for the broadcast television equipment to be installed, start-up, and commission concurrently while competing construction on the main building. Findorff worked collaboratively with the Gray TV team to ensure the switchover from the original building to the new station went smoothly.
